Abstract
Vinnusemi, nægjusemi og nýtni hafa um aldir verið meðal höfuðdyggða Íslendinga. Atvinnuþátttaka hefur áratugum saman verið mjög mikil, 83% samkvæmt ársskýrslu Vinnumálastofnunar árið 2006, og atvinnuleysi lítið síðastliðna áratugi, mest 5% árið 1995. Ljóst er að atvinnuleysi hefur aukist hraðar en reiknað var með, einkum á höfuðborgarsvæðinu, þar sem þenslan var mest. Það stefnir í að hlutfall atvinnulausra fari yfir 10% með vorinu. Svo kemur sumarið. Tugir þúsunda skólafólks munu þá streyma inn á vinnumarkaðinn. Nú eru ungir og miðaldra karlar í meirihluta meðal fólks í atvinnuleit. Margir þeirra muna ekki annað en að ganga að atvinnu sem sjálfsögðum hlut. Sjálfsmynd eldri hluta hópsins er oft nátengd því að hafa vinnu og vera aðalfyrirvinna heimilisins. Reynslan sýnir að ýmsir úr hópnum, einkum þeir yngri, eiga á hættu að missa tök á daglegum lífstakti, snúa sólarhringnum við og leita í vímugjafa. Nýlegar innlendar rannsóknir sýna meiri aðlögunarhæfni atvinnuleitandi kvenna en karla.1

Export search results

The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Different formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

By default, clicking on the export buttons will result in a download of the allowed maximum amount of items.

To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" button and make a selection of the items you want to export. The amount of items that can be exported at once is similarly restricted as the full export.

After making a selection, click one of the export format buttons. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to export format.
