Abstract
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is probably an underdiagnosed problem in Iceland. Also there has been a lack of appropriate instruments in Icelandic in this area. Recently several measures of obsessive-compulsive symptoms have been translated into Icelandic and psychmetrically evaluated. Also a few measures that supposedly reflect cognitive characteristics that according to cognitive theory and therapy play a key role have been translated into Icelandic. In this paper some of the instruments that are ready for use in Iceland are described.
